Company Philosophy

The aim of this company is to establish itself as a notorious supplier of old / antique French items to a Japanese clientele.

And to do this by offering a range of small domestic items from past epochs, covering both 19th and 20th centuries.

But, most importantly, to do so at competitive prices;- offering them in the condition (usually) that we bought them from French Troc &Puces,- and thereby at similar reasonable prices.

We do not wish / need to become rich by selling at fantastic prices, or by having a large turnover.

Therefore, we seek a type of client who understands and accepts certain standards of quality, in order to acquire these goods at such prices.

A client interested not only in each item ヤper seユ; but who seeks a taste of the culture itself. A piece of the memories, moods; the very life of the society from which they are taking these items.

A client who will often accept, even welcome , a certain amount of items that have laid in cupboard/greniers of some very ordinary French families. Or have even been used regularly, for years and even life times.

Often survived at least one world war, in addition to numerous house moves, and the usual wear and tearof items kept in daily use for perhaps- 70~80years.

In fact- outside a museum situations- it is our belief that often a pristine condition does not add to, and even detracts from the value of any particular item.

So, if this rather discerning policy does not satisfy your own tastes or style, we suggest you pass us by, on your search through the internet.
